Snowmegeddon has struck! We got hammered with more than a foot of snow on Sunday. School was canceled, meetings were delayed, the postal service checked out and everybody and their grandmother grabbed the nearest shovel! Enjoy the photos while we are frantically catching up on work.

Our friend Lydia introduced us to a neighborhood tradition. She cooked up a rich chocolately syrup and poured into on to the fresh snow. It tasted like a homemade tootsie roll.
